Media plays to the common denominator. Says a hellova lot about our society and what they value. What I'd really like to see is your bluegrass pickin'. Can you post a video or an audio???? Huh???? Sure would be nice (purty pleeeeze)

  3. I've never watched Jersey Shore but I've seen that lass...Snookie...Snookers..whatever, and it confirmed my wisdom in choosing not to watch.

  4. I saw the link name and cannot click. I do not know how that show gets shown and I don't get why any other show discusses it.

  5. They are laughing all the way to the bank! You think THIS is bad....check out SKINS...I couldn't even make it through one whole episode. This is what our young people are watching. Good Lord...where are Lucy, Father Knows Best and Carol Burnett....not to mention Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley!

  6. I have never watched it and have no desire to do so. It must be young teens that watch!

  7. Scary to think that this kind of show is so popular. There used to be much more quality television on years ago.

  8. Reality tv is a lot cheaper to produce than well-written thoughtful shows, right? But other than $$$, I don't know why they get made. Something about it appeals to people, because they have viewers, but it just doesn't appeal to me...

  9. I don't know this show but we have similar mindless crap in the UK that seems to be very popular - it appears to me it is about putting young and so considered beautiful people on the screen and then getting them to behave in a very unbeautiful way as if the producers think this will make us all feel better. Life is just too short to watch this stuff and I think that sooner, rather than later, people will get bored with voyeur TV. Well I hope so anyway.
