Here in East Texas, we have had a mild spring. Rainfall has been plentiful and the
temperatures have not yet reached those white-hot shimmering days of summer,
but we have had days where warm temperatures mixed with high humidity, sent
me to the more comfortable, almost finished, Hat Creek Hotel office/writing
room. There is little to report on any writing progress but I am looking
forward getting to the point of cleaning out all the saw dust and trash and
using it for its intended purpose.
The rocking chair is on the porch. Anyone have a story to share?
This looks like a wonderful retreat!
ReplyDeletethnx Ms Liza, and thnx for dropping by. Your support has always been appreciated..
Deletelooking good. I have a nice heavy outdoor rocking chair but no porch to put it on.
ReplyDeletethnx Ms Ellen, I built the "Boss" a reading, stand-alone deck porch so we could just rotate around the yard rocking and reading.. lol..
DeleteI would love a go on that rocking chair..particularly one on a porch..i expect Alice might tag along too!
ReplyDeleteIt's the humidity 'round here that sends me scurrying for the air conditioning. If I had a rocking chair, I would probably set it in the entrance hallway leading to the front door -- inside the house. Then haul it outside in October/November.
