Where??

Most of the bloggers that I follow have fallen silent or at least infrequent.  Why?  and Where? ( are ye ).. Opps,,I am one of those.  The fun stuff always seems to get pushed to the back of line.  Last year I told myself (at about this same time), I am going to do some  "Summer Stuff" this year.  I didn't.  I say the same thing this year and I am, but One of those things is to write more.

You folks have read several of my "tales" , epsecially about the coaches that have had a positve impact on my upbringing.  In reflecting back, I have realized, even before now, that I like "team" activity.  I do better and do more often picking guitars with a group than when I take time and sit alone to play.  It seems that writing is the same way.  Sure, there are tons of books out there I can read.  I have done this but they all have "characters" that I enjoy but they are way short of "character".  In short, I guess I am waiting for your "characters" to stoke up my enthusiasm..  see ? it can't be my fault..:)

So, what do you think?  Hummm?

  3. I just posted my "loving solitude" blog... then I read this and realize how much it means to me to be part of the blogisphere... I'm confused! Thanks Glenn.

  4. Anyone seeking "character" can just stop by here for a fill up! I think we all feed of each other in blogdom, inspire, encourage, preserve.

  5. Every year at this time my husband says, ‘Okay, we are definitely going sailing this summer.’ I say, ‘yeah, yeah, yeah…’ but this morning, 2 cam cleats arrived in the mail and he’s giddy as a schoolgirl. He even bought a jibsail on eBay. Now I’m thinking ‘Oh my goodness—this year it just might happen! Quick before we move again!’

As far as characters go, I think you probably have just the right character to embellish, simmering below the surface of your imagination. If not, maybe Sam & Marlena will provide an effective dilatory tactic to keep you from writing (just for a little while).

  6. I really haven't had much to say, Glenn, but I do read posts every day. I think it's just the end of a very looooooong winter, plus it's tax time and garden time, and a lot of us are just not sitting in front of our computer as much. I agree that a joint effort is more fun, which is why I love comments so much. You're lucky because you can make things up - your tales - but someone like me has to depend on what's going on in my life, and it isn't always all that interesting!

  7. Glenn, all of your characters keep me coming back for more! They're all there waiting to whisper an entertaining tale in your mind's ear. I'll be here to enjoy what you write. You have a happily captive audience here in bloggyland!

  8. Glenn I would so miss you, I love your stories, your points of view but mostly your respect for other bloggers and their opinions.
You are honest to yourself therefore honest with us, don't leave us now, we need you.
    ..........:-) Hugs

  9. Yep...its recovering from a nasty winter and now nasty taxes. I finally got them together and submitted to my tax lady so she can work her magic. I had to work more than usual and that really threw my schedule off....or should I say my LACK of a schedule off. LOL. We'll all be back typing our little hearts out again as soon as we take deep breaths. But, you know what.....its kinda nice to be missed. Thanks.

  10. I think I agree with you. When the blogging frenzy is active you are encouraged to jump into the fray...and the comments flying back and forth provide fodder for more writing.

Perhaps this post will stir the nest a little.
